Grow with the Flow

You know that old saying, "Go with the flow." We're taking that a step further.
You have to know how and when to "grow with flow" in the ever changing world of technology. In this
instance the word "grow" translates into "learning and sharing knowledge to improve services."
When we started creating websites in 1999, the Internet was young.
Individual website owners--even big companies with websites--rarely considered
purchasing and maintaining their
own servers; they did not have the technical expertise or the funds needed
to secure and maintain a reliable and fast
connection to the Internet.
As the Internet grew, hosting companies popped up all over the country with advertising
pitches that boasted reliability and customer service. We worked with several companies as we
tried to find high-quality website hosting for our customers, but we were
constantly disappointed. It was a battle to find a real person to speak to
when we needed one, and one-on-one communication was important to us.
So we decided to purchase our own servers and host our customers' websites,
providing email service and detailed log files that allowed owners to monitor site traffic.
We made a point to be accessible if anyone had questions or problems.
We've held to that standard for eight years and will continue to do so.
As time has passed and technology has changed, we are again "growing with the flow."
In June of 2005, we made a decision to allow the experts in our field to serve email

building online businesses and providing one-on-one communications as we help build
those businesses.

We use our email accounts all day long, every day, for many websites, so we're
well aware of the standards that need to be met.
The lesson is simple: Know when to "Grow with the Flow." Sometimes that means
delegating tasks to those better equiped to do a job. It can also mean making changes that
take time and effort.
